Good Read: I Heart You, You Haunt Me

Read this whole book in one sitting. Of course it’s not very long, only 226 pages of free verse poetry, but it was late and I really should have been sleeping. I picked it up while I was looking for A Certain Slant of Light, because I kinda want to read some ghosty stories.

I didn’t exactly weep like a lot of the reviewers on the internet seemed to think I would, but it was pretty dang compelling. I’m interested in novels that are written entirely in poems. I don’t really think I could do that, but it’s a really interesting way to tell a story that doesn’t get all lumped down with clunky description and exposition. I’m totally envious.
